James Blunt includes Perth show on Back To Bedlam Australian and New Zealand 2025 tour

James Blunt has promised Aussies he will “deliver an unforgettable show” when he returns to Australia for the 20th anniversary of his hit album Back To Bedlam.

The UK singer announced the Australian and New Zealand tour on Wednesday where he promised to perform his entire multi-platinum 2004 album along with greatest hits and fan favourites.

Blunt will start the tour in Auckland on October 21 before heading Down Under, stopping in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

He will wrap up the special tour in Perth at RAC Arena on October 30.

“New Zealand and Australia… I’m coming to get you! Following last year’s incredible tour of Oz, I knew I had to bring my Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour to you guys Down Under, and this time we’re sneaking in New Zealand, and I can’t wait to see all of you,” he said.

“I promise to deliver an unforgettable show!”

Back To Bedlam marked the debut of the 50-year-old musician.

The album includes the globally acclaimed number-one singles You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover, along with other notable tracks such as High and Wisemen.

It achieved significant commercial success, reaching number one on the ARIA album charts and earning the eighth spot on the ARIA Top 100 Albums of the 2000s.

The album has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. His most recent album Who We Used To Be was released in 2023.

Blunt was in Perth last year, but before that he hadn’t been to Australia in more than six years.

As a former soldier and British Army captain in the aftermath of the Kosovo War, Blunt was involved in the British refusal to engage Russian troops at Pristina Airport.

Early bird pre-sale tickets available at Destroy All Lines on February 5 and general sale tickets go on sale on February 7.
