Manypeaks bowler Ambrose Clayton took just 20 deliveries to wreck Denmark’s batting order to clinch victory in the Albany and Districts Cricket Association B-grade top-of-the-ladder clash at the weekend

Both sides were undefeated through the opening six Albany and Districts Cricket Association rounds winning all five of their matches before they squared off at Turf South on Saturday.

Denmark were 5-131 when Ambrose was activated before the young pacer terrorised the Magpies tail-enders, taking the final five wickets to end their opponents’ innings for 142 in the 41st over.

Promising Royals all-rounder Evan Pretorius scored his first senior half century to help the Lions to a resounding 105-run win over Albany Sharks at Hard North.

Pretoruis’ 50 runs came from 67 balls as the Lions scored 6-203 through 33 overs after rolling the Sharks for just 98 inside 30 overs.

Andrew Daubney took 4-16 from 6.4 overs for the Lions while Jayde Gregory top-scored for the Sharks with 34.
