Rocky Gully bushfire that blazed through 5ha under control and contained by emergency services

A bushfire northwest of Rocky Gully has been contained and brought under control by emergency services after burning through 5ha of land.
The blaze, which was reported at 1.11pm on Tuesday and was burning south of Muir Highway, was contained by firefighters at 4.40pm.
Crews from Rocky Gully, Denbarker, Forest Hill and Carrolup Bush Fire Brigades were joined by four aerial water bombers to extinguish the fire.
The Department of Fire and Emergency issued a bushfire advice at 4.12pm on Tuesday for the section of highway between Bangalup Road and Bore Road in the Shire of Plantagenet.
The threat was reduced at 7.20pm on Tuesday evening.
Roads remain open, however DFES asks drivers to avoid the area if possible or drive carefully.
Firefighters are monitoring the fire ground, with the Shire of Plantagenet managing firefighting efforts.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
