What the jury saw at police officer's tasering trial

WHAT THE JURY WAS SHOWN DURING KRISTIAN WHITE'S TRIAL: BODYWORN VIDEO * Paramedic Anna Hofner tries unsuccessfully to verbally coax Clare Nowland into handing over or putting down the steak knife she is holding * Senior Constable Kristian White and Acting Sergeant Jessica Pank discuss grabbing the knife out of Mrs Nowland's hands * White draws his Taser and one minute later says 'nah, bugger it' before pulling the trigger and hitting Mrs Nowland in the torso with the weapon's electrical barbs YALLAMBEE LODGE CCTV FOOTAGE * Mrs Nowland shuffles through the darkened corridors wearing pink pyjamas and holding her four-wheeled walker before she grabs two knives and a jug of prunes from a kitchen area * Mrs Nowland raises a knife against registered nurse Rosaline Baker after the two meet in the nursing home's administration building * Police, paramedics and Ms Baker are seen in the administration building's dining area discussing Mrs Nowland as the 95-year-old hides in an alcove just out of sight TRIPLE ZERO CALL * Ms Baker requests an ambulance, telling the operator that there is an aggressive resident raising two knives against staff * The operator decides to send police officers as well as paramedics after hearing about the weapon COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH DOCUMENT * The triple-zero operator sends a CAD document to ambulance and police officers stating, "aggressive resident going into other people's rooms armed with a knife" * About 10 minutes before the tasering, officers radio back to Cooma police station "She has a walker and doesn't move very fast" * After the tasering, Sgt Pank radios back to the station that Mrs Nowland is on her way to Cooma hospital saying "female is fine, has small lump on head, the ambos are managing" WHITE'S POST-INCIDENT REPORT * White describes Mrs Nowland as being armed with a "boning knife", which he later admits in court was incorrect * He writes that the 95-year-old had been waving her knife at police and the Taser had been fired "as a violent confrontation was imminent" * He claims Mrs Nowland was stable at Cooma hospital about an hour and a half after she had been tasered
