Gledhow incident: Woman uninjured after Toyota Prado drives up a power pole cable and gets stuck

A woman was left in a precarious position on Friday after crashing her Toyota Prado into a power pole in Gledhow, leaving it stuck on a cable.

Police were called to the corner of Oxford Street and Argyll Street at 12.15 pm to assist the woman in her 50s who had left the road where the vehicle drove up the length of the supporting cable until it came to a rest at a 45 degree angle.

The woman, who was the cars sole occupant, did not sustain any injuries.
