Teenager, 17, avoids serious injury after car ploughs into Wanneroo house

A teenage driver and the occupants of a Wanneroo home were lucky to avoid serious injuries after a car crashed into the property.

The 17-year-old boy behind the wheel of a white Subaru Impreza ploughed into the Anna Place house about 9.15pm on Friday.

Emergency services attended the scene, with the boy receiving minor injuries. He was taken to Joondalup Health Campus for treatment.

Nobody in the home was injured and police are investigating.
