Golden City out in front as KBCA fixtures resume

Kalgoorlie-Boulder Cricket Association fixtures resume on Saturday for round 11 with three of the top-four sides boasting identical records.

Golden City are entrenched in first place with eight wins, against two defeats.

However, only percentage separates St George, Goldrush and Sunrisers — each with six wins.

With five rounds of qualifiers left, Hibernians remain in the hunt for a finals berth but sit two games off the pace.

In this Saturday’s round, Golden City play Veterans and Goldrush oppose Hibernians at Shepherdson Park, both at 1pm.

The other clash, between Sunrisers and St George, is in the same timeslot but is being played at Morrison Oval.

March 1 has been framed for the last round of qualifiers.
