Strong fields for annual Esperance Classic
Josh Fewkes and Rebecca Rawlinson stole a march on their rivals to lead their respective fields at last weekend’s annual Esperance Golf Club Classic.
Fewkes (71-73-144) led the 36-hole men’s event from Kynan Holt (76-74-150), with Rawlinson (89-86-175) the women’s gross leader from Julie Reid (86-90-176).
Last weekend’s main program drew 134 players and was preceded by official lead-up events on Thursday and Friday, comprising stableford and four-ball-best ball, respectively.
