Competition looks to remain fierce this season as teams returned for round two of the Hedland Touch Association matches last week.

Conquerors were only up by two points at half-time but picked up their pace in the second half, defeating Slow Lemons 8-1.

New team Pengwins showed some improvement after a 13-1 loss against Nads the previous week; however, the team could not keep up with Bad Touch.

Bad Touch were only leading by two points at half-time, but managed to seal the deal in the second half, scoring six tries and defeating the other party 9-3.

Jaiden Wilkinson scored four tries for the winning team and Bec Smith from Pengwins took the title of best on ground.

Rusty Pipes and Jets were off to a solid start with a very close second half, but Rusty Pipes couldn’t keep up, with Jets going down 9-3. Nads proved they were too strong for Mulpba Mophs in a fast-paced game, defeating them 8-2.

Hornets managed an impressive 8-point win against Anzac Slap with an overall score of 11-3.

Harris Rampton scored four tries for Hornets and Tanya Baldwin got the most valuable player votes for the game.

Crazy horses had a big win over Phoenix, coming away with a score of 10-1.
