Fun and laughter at SAFE golf day
Pilbara mini golf champs will put their putting to the test as Saving Animals From Euthanasia Hedland launches its SAFE Mini Golf Day competition later this month.
Teams of four will tee off at the Walkabout Hotel competing for first to third-place prizes, a raffle and best-dressed prizes from 11am on Saturday, September 29.
SAFE Hedland dog co-ordinator Tamsyn Mackie said staff were excited for the community fun day, with lots of laughs to be had.
“As always, all funds raised goes directly to the care and wellbeing of our animals as we are a 100 per cent volunteer-run organisation and it lets us continue to help and re-home animals from our community who need help the most,” she said.
“And a huge thank you to the Walkabout Hotel for their support and people can stick around for some lunch, a beer and watch the footy while we wait for all the teams to finish.”
