Groups eligible for rate relief

Community and not-for-profit groups throughout Port Hedland have been encouraged to apply for concessions on rates in the Town of Port Hedland.

The Town allows for community groups and not-for-profit organisations to apply for discounted rates between 50 and 100 per cent during the 2018-19 financial year.

Mayor Camilo Blanco said the concession was an effort to assist groups and keep them financially stable.

Applications close on Friday, March 30, and can be sent to council @porthedland.wa.gov.au, or to PO Box 41, Port Hedland, WA, 6721.
