In a bid to promote sustainable living practices, the Care for Hedland Environmental Association and the Town of Port Hedland have collaborated to launch the first-ever Hedland Sustainable Living Show Day.

Scheduled for June 29th, 2024, at Gratwick Hall & Civic Centre Gardens, this event aims to empower the local community with practical insights and solutions for reducing their carbon footprint.

According to Narelle Wells, Coordinator of the Care for Hedland Environmental Association, the show day promises something for everyone:

“It’s a great way to hear about what you can do as an individual to reduce your carbon footprint and help make the world a better place, no matter how small the change may be.”

The event, aligned with the Environmental Sustainability Strategy 2022 – 2027, will feature a lineup of esteemed speakers and interactive workshops throughout the day.
