Teenage talent soars
He may already be making a name for himself in the Hedland sporting world, but youngster Bodhi Gregs has reached new heights.
The 13-year-old recently topped his age division in the BMX Northern Territory Titles and the Grant Tour Five Jingili in Darwin recently, rising above a strong competitive field.
The young rider, who also dabbles in football, cricket and water polo, has been with the Hedland BMX club since the age of four.
But Bodhi said this had been his biggest feat since taking up the sport.
“I was super excited to come away with the win,” he said.
“Being able to travel and compete at different tracks across the country with family and friends is what I enjoy the most. Winning the NT State Titles was my highest achievement so far and I am looking forward to the national titles in Tasmania next year.”
