BHP train damage "caused by firearm"
East Pilbara Detectives are investigating damage to a BHP iron ore train which was travelling towards Port Hedland at 6.30pm last night.
The train was travelling west along the BHP Mooka train line, near the 41km marker and as it approached the BHP Billiton Mooka staging facility, the train was forced to stop due to mechanical faults.
On inspection damage was found and it is believed this was caused by a firearm.
