Flight forced to turnaround

A Qantas flight bound for Port Hedland from Perth Airport was forced into a dramatic turnaround on Monday (June 27) after a male passenger fell ill.

“There was a flight turnaround due to a medical emergency,” a Qantas spokesperson said.

Qantas flight QF114, which departed for Hedland at 2.10pm, was forced to return to Perth at 3.55pm local time.

The service recommenced to Hedland at 4.32pm and landed at 6.29pm.
