Investigation into Hedland death continues

A 24-year old man is helping police with their investigation into a death of a man in South Hedland on Sunday.

The 24-year-old was known to the 22-year-old deceased, according to a statement issued by police this morning.

The Major Crime Squad is carrying out the investigation after local officers were called to Treloar Close around 7.55am on Sunday, finding the man “unresponsive”.

Officers carried out CPR on the man until St John Ambulance arrived on the scene to take the man to Hedland Health Campus, but he could not be revived.
