Kellie Williams led home a field of 12 adult and junior triathletes last Sunday in the latest round of races by the Hedland Tri Sports club.

Williams completed a strong race in all three disciplines as she powered away over the 600m swim, 20km ride and 10km run to win ahead of Oksana Isavina on April 12.

Taylor Selfe, 13, completed a remarkable race as she stepped up from the juniors to the short course distance and took out the win over the 300m swim, 10km ride and 3km run.

Elsie Grossmith, 12, was the first home in the 100m swim, 4km ride and 1km run junior event.

The next Hedland Tri Sports race will be held on April 26 as part of the Anzac centenary events.
