Missing boy safe and sound

Missing South Hedland boy George Powdrill, 9, has been found safe and well.

South Hedland police yesterday appealed for information from the public in their search for George, who was last in the South Hedland town centre on Friday.

A Pilbara Police Facebook post last night asking the public for help attracted more than 500 shares.

Senior Sergeant Dean Snashall said the boy was found with a family member.
