Promoted youngsters at home in Eagles' nest
Port Hedland Netball Association has just passed the half-way point in the season with last year's A-grade winners Eagles sitting at the top of the ladder.
Last year's runners-up Spectres are close behind with only percentage points separating the two teams after round 8.
Association development officer and Eagles player Tracey Swami said the team was travelling well despite a recent injury to one of its players.
"We have a few of the old heads back from having babies but we've brought up three of the young 16 and unders to start, to give them a go, and they're playing really well," she said.
The B-grade competition is proving to be tight with four teams on the same number of wins while the Eagles and Spectres are heading up the C-grade ladder.
