After a tough couple of weeks, So Fresh has rediscovered their rich start of season form in the JD Hardie Centre’s futsal competition.
So Fresh smashed six goals unanswered against Business Time to seal victory.
Business Time was the better side in the second period, but was unable to overturn the deficit and lost 6-3.
So Fresh’s Sam Spargo received the MVP vote for the match and scored five of his side’s goals.
In an exciting low-scoring game, Ball Busters had the upper hand for most of the match and took a one goal lead into the break against Wolfpac.
The Wolves put up a solid defence, stopping Ball Busters from breaking away in the second half but were unable to get on top, losing by a solitary goal.
OCRS had their biggest win of the season, clocking up nearly 20 goals against Runamuks to creep closer to the top four with an easy three points.
Buckalah and B Team entertained last Tuesday night, with the latter determined to cause an upset over one of the competition’s top sides.
A competitive first-half saw the sides deadlocked 2-2 at half-time.
