Talks behind closed doors
Members of the public are yet to hear if they will get a repeat of the North West Festival this year.
The Town of Port Hedland have been in discussions about the event for a number of months, but the discussions have been behind closed doors, treated as “confidential matters”.
The North West Telegraph asked the Town to provide comment on why the festival discussions had not been held in public, but they did not respond by the time of print.
Last year, the popular music festival attracted thousands from all over the State to the Port Hedland Turf Club.
Over two nights, music fans enjoyed performances from The Veronicas, You Am I, Xavier Rudd, Sarah Blasko and many more.
