Teams are gearing up for Port Hedland’s softball season, training hard to gain those first crucial match points to secure top spot on the ladder.

In the first game of the season next month, the Hawks will take on a strong Raiders reserve side, who will be feeling hungry for a win after just missing out on the top spot last year.

The Pirates 2 and Jets 2 will also face off on Diamond 3 at 1.30pm, for what is set to be a cracking game in the Reserves competition.

Later in the afternoon, the Cougars will take on Raiders 2, who are still in fine form after their win in the Reserves last year.

The Pirates come off the back of their A-grade premiership last year to take on Jets 1 on Diamond 3 at 3.30pm.
