There has been chaos on WA roads this morning with emergency services responding to numerous incidents across Perth and regional areas.

Early this morning the RAC rescue helicopter was sent to a serious crash in Perth’s north-east, where a driver was left trapped inside his car after it ploughed into a tree on Northam-York Road about 5.15am

In Joondalup, a light pole has fallen across the road at Collier Pass and Barron Parade after a crash about 6.45am.

Both St John Ambulance and Western Power are responding.

Further south in Hope Valley paramedics are at the scene of a two-car crash on Rockingham Road at Anketell Road.

Initial reports suggest there has been minor injuries.

Just after 7am a road train with three trailers rolled in the remote town of Kumarina on Great Northern Highway.

Police say no one was injured in the incident but the Department of Fire and Emergency Services on the way to help clean up the scene.

More to come.
