Clubs given chance to win new gear

Pilbara sporting clubs have the opportunity to score a range of free equipment and cash prizes thanks to an Australian pipe fittings manufacturer.

Entries are open for the Philmac Sponsor My Club initiative, which offers regional sporting clubs the chance to share in a total of $10,000 in prizes.

Philmac general manager marketing and product development Jason Mitchell said the business wanted to help connect regional communities.

"Any regional sports club has the chance to win one of eight sports equipment vouchers up to the value of $1000," he said.

"Just tell us what makes your club unique and how the sponsorship would help your club.

"Plus, if a club member has an extraordinary sporting talent and you capture it on video, you could go in the draw to win one of four additional $500 cash prizes."
