Footy fans in Port Hedland will have the opportunity to enjoy a piece of the 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final action when the Telstra On The Ball tour visits the area next Monday.

The Telstra On The Ball tour features a free skills clinic where AFL legends Darren Glass and Andrew Embley will put Port Hedland locals through their paces in a series of skills sessions and fitness drills.

As well as sharing their tips and skills at the open clinic, Darren Glass and Andrew Embley will also be chaperoning the official Telstra Community Ball which will travel more than 10,000km on the tour, collecting the signatures and messages of support from footy fans throughout Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria.

One lucky footy fan from WA will also win the opportunity to present the Telstra Community Ball to the Premiership Cup ambassador on grand final day and be a part of the crowd at the biggest game of the year on September 27.

The Telstra On The Ball skills clinic will be held at the Swan and Districts Football Club at Kevin Scott Oval from 4 to 5.30pm on Monday, September 1, and is open to all footy fans.

The team will also visit the Cassia Primary School in South Hedland during the morning.

The full Telstra On The Ball tour will also be in Karratha on Tuesday, September 2.
