A search operation has found four missing hikers in far northern WA.

Kununurra police were searching for the group of experienced bushwalkers who set off on a hike from Emma Gorge in the El Questro Wilderness Park early on the Monday of June 17.

Authorities had wanted to speak to Gayle or Alan from Tasmania before the group were found.
