Man found dead at workers' camp

A 37-year-old man was found dead at a South Hedland workers' camp in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The man was discovered in his room by workers at Gateway Village prior to sunrise.

Police were notified shortly after and attended with St John Ambulance but were unable to resuscitate the man.

Police said it was believed the man took his own life.
