South Hedland Swans president Barry Taylor, vice-president Josh Nannup and other committee members welcomed the new Swans coaching staff to the club last week.

First team coach Harry Taylor and reserves coach Eric Thompson Jr are looking forward to another hard-fought season, with both men bringing years of experience onto the field.

Taylor is a life member of the club and played in its successful five-premierships-in-a-row era, from 1992-96.

Taylor has also represented the North Pilbara Football League with distinction, representing the NPFL in its successful Landmark Country Football Carnival in Perth in 1987-88 when they won the A and B-grade divisions.

Thompson is a junior product of the South Hedland Swans and is a life member who played in the Swans' grand final sides of 2012 and 2004.

The Swans play their home games at the Kevin Scott Oval, behind Wanangkura Stadium, in South Hedland.

The season kicks off on April 14 and will be the Swans' 40-year anniversary.
