The most prestigious awards event in women’s footy is underway in Melbourne, with players and guests looking glamourous on the coral carpet.
The W Awards will be handed out at the Crown Palladium with the league’s best and fairest award headlining the night, which is given out in the style of the Brownlow Medal with 3-2-1 voting by the umpires in every game.
North Melbourne’s Jasmine Garner, Adelaide’s Ebony Marinoff and Richmond’s Monique Conti are among the favourites to take home this year’s top AFLW award.
The Tigers’ Sarah Hosking and the Magpies’ Ruby Schleicher looked absolutely divine in silk gowns as they arrived on the carpet.
Meanwhile, Aussie drummer G Flip and their wife, Selling Sunsets star Chrishell Stause, were quite the couple as they walked the carpet.
Stause wore a bedazzled bright pink mini skirt while G looked stylish in an all-black, chic outfit.
