Albany’s canines stole the show on Saturday as they strutted their stuff on the dogwalk in the annual Albany Pride Dog Parade.

More than 150 people gathered at Albany town square to watch the dogs compete in six categories and the ultimate title of judges choice.

The judging panel consisted of Jessy Daw, Misty Farquhar and Lynn MacLaren.

Trixie earned the title of best dressed with her colourful neck tutu and necklace, while Gidget was crowned softest dog and Toto Mahoto was named scruffiest dog.

Billie and Bella were co-winners for best trick, Douglas swiped the title of waggiest tail, and Elvis stole the judges hearts and was awarded for having the cutest eyes.

Munroe, who impressed the judges with his handshakes, was crowned as the judges’ choice for the parade.
