Flight diverted after medical emergency
A flight bound for Bali has been forced to land at Port Hedland International Airport due to an on board medical emergency late last night.
The flight bound for Denpasar from Adelaide was diverted after a 64 year old woman became unconscious and unresponsive during the flight.
Police and St John’s Ambulance attended and transported the woman to the Hedland Health Campus where she remains in a stable condition.
Family who were on board the flight will remain with the woman until she is well enough to return to Adelaide.
