Round 14 of Hedland touch rugby kicks off
Round 14 of Hedland Touch Association’s season will kick off tonight, with teams keen to show their might as the season begins to draw to a close.
Blaik Smoke will take on Tu Meke, with Blaik Smoke coming off of a 7-4 win against Rusty Pipes.
The undefeated Conquerors, who defeated Tu Meke last week, will face off against the Crazy Horse tonight, who pipped the Turtles last week, 11-4.
Turtles will play Nads as the Jets and Rusty Pipes battle in the final game for the A-grade competition on the night.
In B-grade, the Hornets will play the High School side, with the Hornets coming off of a 10-7 win over the Black Panthers last week.
No Brakes will play RSM Chubb and Anzac Slap will take on the Bad Touch on Field 1 from 8.10pm.
Jay Train, who were kept scoreless by the The Bad Touch last week, will play the Black Panthers tonight.
Finals will begin next week.
The association will also be hosting a referees course on May 28 from 8.30am.
All players are welcome to take part with an upfront fee of $55 to be paid which will be reimbursed by the club after completion of the theory component of the course.
The course will be held at the Hedland Senior High School Library.
